A little over a month had passed. Occasionally, there'd be word from inside Arcadia. Occasionally, there'd be more deliveries of food. But the uneasy peace was doomed from the start, and at least some people knew that.

Eventually the message comes. Something has been found. Something that Copy X wants to speak to them in person about, but he can't leave the city at the time. He thinks Weil is suspicious and would take advantage of any absence. But he can give them access codes to an area of Arcadia away from the human residential sections, where they can meet...

Any other time, and Forte would be fine simply watching for as long as the show went, but time isn't something they can waste. He sighs at the mental reminder and decides to egg it on a little in hopes of seeing the end before going. "It's one measly human! Punch her in the face and be done with it!"

Unfortunately, commenting gets her attention, because now she's looking at Forte. "You want to give it a try? If I have to knock around everyone here to get to that bastard Weil and his damn Judges, it's fine with me."

Zero facepalms. For the briefest second he thinks of hooking her up to the VR and letting her see just how well she'd do against Weil... and then he remembers again that she's squishy and he's not sure they can be hooked up to VR. So much for that idea. "Fighting everyone here isn't going to get you any closer to Weil..."

Forte's not bothered by this. "I'd hate to end your little rampage early, but if no one else is going to do it.... I'll even be willing to give you a free hit first if you think you can keep from breaking something."

"The only thing that'll get broken is you," and she's heading that way. In fact, now that she has a definite target to focus on for a bit, she's grinning. Better than being confused because she didn't know what to do next. Now, whatever else needs done next, it comes after this fight.

She's also not noticing a couple Repliforce medics, trying to sneak up behind her with intent to sedate.

Zero doesn't see how this could possibly end well. "Just try not to kill her," he comments to Forte. "I don't feel like dealing with the Lightbots whining today."

"Don't worry, she's too amusing to kill," Forte chuckles as she gets closer. It's not going to be much of a fight, but he will keep his word and let her make the first move. He believes she's earned that much from her previous antics.

Zero will just back out of the way... and try to get the Repliforcers to do the same.

Atlanta isn't pulling that first punch, either, aiming for Forte's midsection. She doesn't really see where damaging a 'bot could be that much harder than breaking bricks, and she's done that in practice...

Practice, though, is practice. And Forte is definitely not a brick.

Meanwhile, Rock has finally spotted this after getting Elec a towel and helping to untangle Ice and Fire. He's now headed that way in a flailing panic.

Forte spots Rock, smirks, and returns the punch to Atlanta's midsection. Even though it's enough to leave her winded, it's not above the amount of force a human could use.

She tries to twist and dodge, but not quite fast enough, and the punch doubles her over. Not that that stops her. She can't breathe for the moment, but while she's bent over anyway she'll swing both fists for one of Forte's knees. Even 'bots have to be weaker at the 'hinges'...

"Don't hurt her, Forte!" Yes, Rock's caught up.

"Fuck off, shorty," comes a wheezed reply from Atlanta, who tries to straighten up and catch her breath.
