A little over a month had passed. Occasionally, there'd be word from inside Arcadia. Occasionally, there'd be more deliveries of food. But the uneasy peace was doomed from the start, and at least some people knew that.

Eventually the message comes. Something has been found. Something that Copy X wants to speak to them in person about, but he can't leave the city at the time. He thinks Weil is suspicious and would take advantage of any absence. But he can give them access codes to an area of Arcadia away from the human residential sections, where they can meet...

The attack doesn't give away whether Forte's knees could be counted as a weak point since it doesn't do any more than have Forte shift his weight to the other leg and bring up the first to kick.

"You heard the lady, Rockhead. Unless you want to take a shot at stopping her from fighting."

Rock will just try to grab Forte's leg then. Though not quite in time to keep Atlanta from getting kicked. She's knocked down, but is actually trying to get right back up... while Rock's trying to get between her and Forte.

"Do you get it yet?" Zero asks. "The Lights were afraid to fight back because they won't hurt a human. But if you go up against a 'bot that doesn't care what you are, then you'll find out why humans get called 'squishy'."

"If they won't fight humans, they won't fight Weil either," Atlanta manages, wiping blood from her mouth and getting to her feet. She glares at Forte. "Everything has a weakness..."

Forte windmills his arms and kicks at Rock to get him to let go of his leg.

"That's why they're not being relied on to fight Weil. We've got plenty of fighters willing to tear him to shreds and who will last longer than some spunky human."

Rock lets go, but only so he can try to stay between Forte and Atlanta. He looks uneasy at all the talk about killing Weil. He's not sure what's going to happen there and is actually trying hard not to think about it.

"So just because I'm human, that means I'm worthless, is that it? I'm just supposed to sit quietly and let the 'bots do everything..." She's still angry, but now she looks as likely to start crying as she is to pick another fight.

"If humans could do the stuff we do, we probably wouldn't have been made in the first place," Zero says, mostly meaning 'bots in general with that.

"Thems the breaks. And there's not a way to make a human physically strong enough to do what 'bots do." However, there's robots Forte would consider worthless before thinking of someone willing to act like Atlanta in that way.

"There has to be some way. I.. I can't accept that..."

Rock's noticed she's not an adult. It hadn't registered sooner what with the arguments... and that she's taller than him. "Um, where are your parents?"

"Dead," Atlanta replies flatly, not even looking at Rock.

Rock just feels awkward now.

"Good luck to you with that." He turns to move on. "Try not to break the Lightbots too much. You're their weakness, and it's hardly a fight when they can't fight back."

Atlanta just scowls. "Out of my way, shorty," she grumbles to Rock before trudging back to the tents. There has to be a way.

Zero just shakes his head and goes inside as well. "That was... amusing. I hope someone recorded it." And it seems Enker, Copy X, X, Phantom, and Lumine are all over in the Command Center area.

"I hope we can get a repeat performance," Forte adds, throwing Rock a grin that'd cause any hero to worry before continuing on his way in.

From the look on Rock's face, yes, he's worried.

Zero waits until the Light's aren't looking before he grins and says, "Just wait until they find some of the weapon and armor shops in the Nexus Mall."

As he reaches the command center it's easier to see they're trying to put together a map of Arcadia... and trying to come up with a way to attack Weil that won't put the humans in danger... though it's doubtful they all have the same reasons for wanting to avoid that.

X, though, seems to be having a few issues focusing on battle plans, as he'd had someone bring him the holiday presents he'd been holding onto for Phantom. And another package that the Nexus Elf had slipped in with the ones for his kids.

Copy is giving the tag on this a puzzled look when they arrive. "This is mine?"
